Broken Xmas is the title of a short film written and directed by Oscar Rivas (owner of Rivaucci and 1st Look Films).
When Oscar asked me to be the film’s director of photography, it was my first opportunity to use the Canon C300 on an exterior night shoot with minimal lighting – there was no budget for big lights. Overall, I was very impressed with how well the C300 performed with small lights and lots of dark shadows.
